Wish I could just delete them all and start again.. because I have many many many unnecessary accounts for things I've joined up to...

University???

Tomorrow is the day I 'officially' start University!!! Three and a half months of summer holiday has gone too quickly for my liking, but there's nothing I can do about that. I am so so so nervous about starting and it doesn't help that I'm alone. Because I'm going to a University where I don't know anyone, I don't have any friends, and I'm one of those people who don't fancy being by themselves in new situations, or in any social situations as a matter of fact. Going into the unknown is scaring me, A LOT! I'm so unsure about how much work I'm expected to do, how tutorials work, if I need textbooks, I don't know... To quote one of my favourite songs at the moment 'Rather Be' by Clean Bandit Ft. Jess Glynne, "It's a shot in the dark but I'll make it."

To end on a positive note, I'll take you through some adventures I had on my summer break.

Puffing Billy is an old railway station where you ride an old steam train they used to use in the 'olden days'
My cousin, brother and myself
A place called Rippon Lea. A house that has been preserved from the 1800's, excellent for history buffs like me :)

Melbourne at night is so beautiful!

Grease the Musical
Now, I had to write up a little paragraph about Grease the Musical because it was the best thing I have EVER seen and thats not even an over-exageration, it truly was! The cast was amazing, their singing was amazing and their acting was amazing. They were so natural up on that stage, and it was funny, and sad and happy and every other emotion all at the same time. They engaged the audience into their performance and of course I was singing along.. DUHHH! Grease is probably my favourite movie of all time, so to see it executed so well as a musical mad eke so happy. I would HIGHLY recommend you watch this, it is a must!

At Hofbrauhaus - A German restaurant
Some Wiener schnitzel anyone?
German Beer
It wouldn't be summer without going to the beach right?

Clothing Haul

Recently, I went on a much needed shopping trip and bought some new clothes. I'm not really sure about you guys but I really enjoy shopping. It's like a whole experience for me and I believe it to be very therapeutic - although when you see something you want really really badly and its out of your price range, it becomes quite the opposite of therapeutic HAHA. There's just something I love about feeling and touching the clothes on the rack, I'm not really sure why but I love the fabric through my fingers (I'm weird, don't judge... haha). Ok... I think I've dawdled enough, i'll just show you what I bought before you get bored!

Now bear in mind that I'm from Australia and most of the shops, no actually, ALL of the shops in this post are Australian... I'm not entirely sure if these shops are also in other countries around the world, but I think it's still good to show you what I bought so you could possibly get some inspiration from them, or maybe even find something similar. In saying that, I think that these stores are somewhat the equivalent of Primark... Maybe...
Anyways, now that you've got the idea, here it goes.

The first shop is: Chic-a-booti
Mmm dat quality doe!
Just bought these 2 cardigans... nothing special.

From Chic-a-Booti I bought these two cardigans, an essential (I think) in everyones wardrobe. Wanted black, but than I thought i'm going to buy a black blazer and black trench coat, so decided for a grey and coral-y option instead. It was on sale, 2 for $20! Size: Large

Next Shop: Colette (a jewellery store)
I thought the bag had a great design, and in my fav colour as well!
Here I bought 2 pieces of jewellery. They were having a 3 for 2 sale, so my mum bought something for herself too haha! This bracelet is gold, probably not real, and it was $12.95. It's like a cuff and I'm a sucker for gold/rose gold jewellery!

Also bought a necklace for $12.95. This caught my eye because it was chunky. I thought it was going to be heavy, but I've already worn it on a night out and it didn't even feel as though I was wearing it! Another plus to this necklace is that it can be used like a choker or something a bit longer.

Third shop is: Ally Fashion

Thought the bag was super cute!

So this singlet (or 'vest' as some people like to call it) was only a mere $15 and in a Austrlian size 6 (US size 2, Euro size 34). I loved the blue, and the mirror image. Sort of reminded me of when you painted in primary school and you only painted on one side of the paper, folded it, and when you opened it, it had a mirrored effect. I've seen this kind of style on many dresses so i guess it's 'in' at the moment. Also, the back is just black, nothing exciting, however, i love a printed top with a plain back, WINNING!

This next top is from: Valley Girl

I'm not really a florally type of gal however I strangely like it. It almost looks like a painting on the front of the top, and once again, a plain white back ;) The material is also very light, good for summer, and as seeing were still having summer in March, I thought it was a good purchase for $15.
Size: 8 (US size 4)

Painting or t-shirt?

This next item is from: Supre for only $10
Size: Small

Mind the crinklyness, I hate crinkly clothes but could not be bothered ironing. Lazy.

I don't normally shop in Supre. Their clothes just do not appeal to me. But if you're ever in need for cheap basics, this is the place to go! These shorts are super comfy, and loose, and literally go with EVERYTHING! You can't go wrong.

Next Shop: Dotti

I bought these denim jeans for $69.95 and I got a second pair free, which was good! The darker ones are high waisted and in an Australian size 12 (I have a big booty). The lighter ones, which are my fav, are in a size 11. I thought this was great because size 10 was a bit small, and size 12 was a bit big so I really needed something in between. I'm so happy with the colour of the lighter jeans. I loved the shade of blue, and they're sort of whiter in the middle of the legs. Both of them are 'super tube', which is even skinner than skinny jeans, yay! OH AND THE BEST THING IS THERE IS NO BUILD UP OF JEANS AT THE BOTTOM! THEY SIT PERFECTLY AT THE BASE OF YOUR ANKLE WOOOO!

Loved the zip detail!

 Last shop is: Temt

A closer look at the detail

I purchased this jumper for only $24.99 in an Australian size 8 (US size 4). I loved the monochrome/black and white look and i've already gotten compliments on it. The front part is thin and delicate, but not see through, a little bit different. And the sleeves have sort of a woollen feel. And the back, you've guessed it, plain black! I love this!

Ok, so that has been my haul. Don't ask why I took pictures of the bags, I'm not quite sure myself to be honest HAHA! Anyways, hope you've enjoy this post, and maybe found some inspiration.

Byeeeee x
